Bollywood's famous actress Sonakshi Sinha married her long time boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal in a private ceremony in June this year. Only her family and close friends attended the wedding. Sonakshi has been a topic of discussion ever since her marriage. Recently, she has also spoken openly about the pressure of cooking after marriage.

There is no pressure to cook after marriage: Sonakshi Sinha: While talking to the media, Sonakshi Sinha said that nowadays there is no pressure on women to cook after marriage. She told that now people understand that women manage both their personal and professional commitments. Sonakshi said, "In today's time there is no such pressure on women (to cook), because everyone knows that women have their own working life and home life. I consider myself lucky that there is no such pressure on me (to cook). If I cook, it will be of my own free will."

Sonakshi recently attended a promotional event of a digital travel company, where she tried cooking for the first time. Zaheer Iqbal was also present with her at this event. At the event, Sonakshi made Sattu Ka Paratha, while Zaheer prepared avocado sushi. Sonakshi told that this was the first time she tried cooking something and her mother Poonam Sinha would be very happy with this new experience of hers. She said, "This is the first time I cooked something in front of so many people. I was a little nervous, but I felt that I did a good job. I enjoyed it a lot and would like to learn more things in the future."

Sonakshi jokingly said, "My mother will be the happiest today. She is a great cook and always wanted me to become a good chef, which never happened. She thought that when I get married, I will learn to cook well, but she is still waiting for it."
