New Delhi: Team India has suffered a big blow just before the second Test match from New Zealand. The team's main fast bowler Ishant Sharma has been injured. Because of this, they will not be able to play the second Test match. The second Test match between India and New Zealand will be played from Saturday. This match will be played in Christchurch, where India has never won a Test match. Ishant Sharma's injury has made India's path more difficult.

Fast bowler Ishant Sharma took five wickets in the first Test match. He was the most prolific Indian player in Wellington. Ishant practiced on Wednesday and Thursday, but did not appear on the field on Friday. It was told that Ishant complained of ankle pain. His ankle injury has emerged back. After this, he was sent for medical examination.

According to sources, it has become clear that Ishant Sharma will not be able to play in the second Test match. Umesh Yadav or Navdeep Saini may get a place in the playing eleven in their place. It is also possible that India can drop Ravichandran Ashwin from the playing XI after seeing the fast bowlers helpful pitch. If this happens, both Umesh and Navdeep can find a place in the playing XI.
