The match between Mumbai City FC and SC East Bengal was drawn in the Indian Super League match. No team has scored in this match.  With which Mumbai has again moved up to the first position in the points table. The team has not won the last four matches. Bengal has not won the last 10 matches. Igor Angulo was the first to score in the match. However, goalkeeper Arindam had easily stopped his header. Daniel Cheema also tried to score at the other end after Angulo. His target was not right and the ball went out from the right side of the goal post. Bengal suffered a major setback when their player Joyner Lurenko was injured and replaced by Ankit Mukherjee.

Both teams failed to score: Both the teams had a strong defence in this match and no team could score a big prospect in the first half. Mumbai kept the ball with them most of the time in the first half but their players could not penetrate Bengal's defence. Both the teams remained tied at half-time. Bikas Jaru sent Mohammad Rafique in the second half and the Mumbai players demanded a penalty early in the second half, but the referee has rejected their demand.

After which the Brazilian tried to score from a long distance but goalkeeper Bhattacharja has stopped it too. Meanwhile, Mumbai players were clearly annoyed not to score but could not reverse the outcome of the match and did not win the fourth match in a consecutive manner.
