Jerusalem: The death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 65 in the ongoing bloody conflict between Israel and Palestine. Seven people have also been reported dead in Israel. According to media reports, Hamas commander Basim Issa was killed in the gaza bombing. With this, three buildings were destroyed and hamas security establishments were also demolished.
According to Arava Ibrahim, a journalist from Aljazeera, the 14-storey building was home to several media houses. While the Israeli Defence Force says the building had an office of Hamas military intelligence. It was through this building that intelligence military activities were being communicated. Gaza's Health Ministry said that so far 65 people including 16 children have lost their lives there. The ministry said 365 people, including 86 children and 39 women, were injured in the attack.
A 5-year-old boy has also been reported dead and at least 20 injured in Israel following the recent Gaza attack. According to the Times of Israel, a rocket fired by Gaza broke through the window on Wednesday night and the minor there suffered a deep head injury. The child was declared brought dead several hours after the incident. His mother is still injured.
