Jerusalem: Amidst the devastation caused by the Novel Coronavirus, Israel has ordered the closure of all shrines. The Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday that prayers would be allowed outside, not inside mosques, synagogues and churches. That too for a maximum of ten people, who will be able to stand and pray at a distance of at least two meters.

According to the news agency Xinhua, the new emergency law has come into force from Wednesday afternoon. Apart from this, going more than 100 meters away from the house has been banned. Only medicines, food items and health care are allowed outside. Exit is also allowed to assist physically challenged people. With this, only two people can travel in a car, while public transport will run only 25 percent.
