New Delhi: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has wished India on Independence Day. He has also described Indian PM Narendra Modi as his best friend in a tweet made on the eve of Independence Day. This tweet by Netanyahu shows the constantly improving relationship between the two countries.

On Friday, Netanyahu posted a photo of himself with PM Modi and wished him on Independence Day. PM Netanyahu wrote in his tweet that, "Congratulations to my very good friend Narendra Modi and the people of incredible India on Independence Day. You have a lot to be proud of". The biggest thing is that Benjamin Netanyahu also used Hindi in his tweet. He wrote in Hindi, 'Heartiest Independence Day'.

India and Israel have good relations and these relations started in the true sense only during PM Modi's rule. Last year, on the occasion of Friendship Day, the Israeli embassy posted a photo of its PM Benjamin Netanyahu and Narendra Modi, along with it wrote: "This friendship will not break". To which PM Modi replied by tweeting in Hebrew. PM Modi wrote, "Happy Friendship Day to the citizens of Israel and my good friend Netanyahu".
