On Tuesday, the cold wave was at a speed of about 14 kmph during the day. Due to the icy wind coming from the mountains, the warm clothes were proving to be inadequate. The weather was similar on Wednesday.

The morning began with a thick fog. Visibility remained zero till 8 am. People couldn't see a few feet away. Cars were seen crawling on the roads. During the day, the drivers were operating the trains with the help of headlights. However, after 10 a.m., the weather gradually started clearing up. The fog was cut but the humidity remained. Now the department has said that there may be a change in the weather from Thursday. Light rain is expected on February 4 and 5 due to the activity of the western disturbance.
