If you are unable to eat non-veg due to the lockdown, then today we are going to share with you the recipe of making veg biryani which is jackfruit biryani recipe.

Necessary Ingredients:

Jackfruit - 1 bowl
Onion two
Rice - 2 cups
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
Coriander Powder - 1 tablespoon
Saffron - 1 small spoon
Cloves - 3 to 4
Cardamom-2
Bay leaf-2
Mace - a pinch
Chakraful - 1
Cumin seeds - 1 small spoon
Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
Curd - 2 tablespoons
Oil and Salt as per taste
a little milk

Method of preparation: First of all, wash the jackfruit and fry it by cutting it into small pieces. Soak saffron in milk and water so that its color becomes yellow. Now boil the rice and when the rice boils, leave half of the rice white and make the remaining half of the rice yellow with saffron water. In another way, put oil in a pan on low heat to heat it. When the oil is hot, add all the spices to it and after lightly frying, add onion and fry it till it becomes golden brown. Then add ginger and garlic paste to it. When it turns brown too, add salt to taste as well. Then add yogurt to bring it a bit of sourness. And fry it till it gets a nice color and flavor. Then add fried pieces of jackfruit to it. Let it cook for a while. When it is cooked well, first make a layer of rice in a bowl, then sprinkle saffron water on it so that its flavor comes. Then make jackfruit in the second layer. Place yellow rice again in the third layer over jackfruit. Sprinkle saffron water on it again, in this way you can make several layers of your choice. Add cashew nuts, almonds, saffron water and cook it on low heat for a while. Your hot and tasty jackfruit biryani is ready.
