The birthday of veteran Hindi cinema actor Jagdeep is celebrated on 29 March. Jagdeep was a famous comedian of Bollywood, who left an indelible mark in Hindi cinema with his comedy and was also successful in winning the hearts of the audience. Jagdeep was known for playing his different characters well in the movie. On the occasion of his birthday, we are going to introduce you to the special things related to Jagdeep. Jagdeep was born on 29 March 1939 in Datia, Madhya Pradesh. His real name was Syed Ishtiaq Jafri. Jagdeep was very fond of acting since childhood, which was the reason why he started acting in movies at a young age. Jagdeep started his acting career as a child artist with the famous producer-director BR Chopra's movie Afasana. The film Afasana came in the year 1951.

According to media reports, Jagdeep had said in one of his interviews that he was given only Rs 3 to work in the movie Afsana. After this movie, he had worked as a child artist in many Bollywood movies. His acting had gradually started to make a place in the hearts of the audience and as soon as he saw it, Jagdeep started to be counted among the big actors of Bollywood. Jagdeep has now acted in many great Bollywood movies including Delhi Is Not Far, Munna, Aar-Paar, Do Bigha, Bhabhi, Barkha and Bindiya. He also played a lot of memorable characters. One of the characters was of Soorma Bhopali. Jagdeep played this character in the 1975 movie  Sholay. This small character of his left such an impression on the film screen that he is still remembered by the audience.

Jagdeep had worked in more than 400 movies in his entire movie Karyir. He is considered to be the last after Johnny Walker and Mahmud in the tradition of comic icons of cinema. Last year, Hindi said goodbye to the world in this star of cinema. Jagdeep passed away on July 8 at the age of 81. They were handed over on July 9.
