Bangalore: In its manifesto released for the Karnataka Assembly elections, the Congress has promised to ban the Hindutva organization 'Bajrang Dal'. Regarding this, PM Narendra Modi has accused the Congress of insulting Hanuman ji. At the same time, senior Congress leader and former Union Minorities Minister K Rehman Khan has lodged an objection to the slogan 'Jai Bajrang Bali'. The Congress leader has claimed that PM Modi has asked people to chant 'Jai Bajrang Bali' while casting their votes.

Rahman Khan said, 'I have reacted to the Prime Minister's statement. He has said that when you go to vote at the booth, you cast your vote by saying 'Jai Bajrang Bali'. The PM should not have said this. He is the Prime Minister of the whole country and he is saying this, so it is not fair. Now if people keep shouting loudly like this in the booth, then who will be controlled? If the minorities go there, there will be an atmosphere of fear among them.

K Rahman Khan further said that he urges the Election Commission to take cognizance of this and stop it. He said that the minority people in the country are not afraid, but the atmosphere is still there. The Congress leader said, "The atmosphere has remained like this. Lynching is happening. 'Jai Shri Ram' is being called forcibly. If a common man had said, then there was no problem. But, the Prime Minister is saying so, then the Election Commission should take notice."

Let us inform that during a rally, PM Modi had said that Nowadays anyone is abusing Modi. Does anyone in Karnataka accept the abuse culture? Does Karnataka forgive the abuser? When you go to press the button in the polling booth, punish them by saying 'Jai Bajrang Bali'. Let us inform that, after the release of Congress manifesto, 'Bajrang Dal' has also protested against Congress in many areas of the country. The Congress party, in its manifesto, compared 'Bajrang Dal' to the banned fundamentalist organization PFI and talked about banning it. However, it is also worth noting that the Congress is contesting the Karnataka elections in alliance with the SDPI, the political wing of the same PFI.
