Raipur: Elections are to be held on 2 seats of Rajya Sabha in Chhattisgarh. In these two seats, Congress has fielded senior leader Rajiv Shukla and former Bihar MP Ranjit Ranjan. There is constant opposition to this decision of Congress. Now former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi's son and Janata Congress Chhattisgarh chief Amit Jogi has also attacked the Congress regarding this issue.

Amit Jogi wrote, "The imposition of outside candidates on both the Rajya Sabha seats of Chhattisgarh is the result of Congress's thinking of 'Jai Ho High Command, Bhad Jaaye Chhattisgarh ka Mann'. He said that the Congress high command has let the deserving leaders of the state down by not giving them opportunities and insulted the state. Further Amit Jogi said, to save his chair, Bhupesh Baghel once again sold the honor and respect of Chhattisgarh in Delhi. The people of the state did not give 71 MLAs to the Congress because the people of UP and Bihar should be made MPs from Chhattisgarh and lick their feet.

Jogi further said, I request the Congress MLAs not to vote for the two external candidates imposed on June 10 for the sake of the pride and dignity of Chhattisgarh. First there is Chhattisgarh then politics. If we cannot respect Chhattisgarh, then what is the use of such politics? He said, Late Ajit Jogi had sent 3 people (Kamla Manhar, Ramadhar Kashyap and Motilal Vora) to Rajya Sabha from Chhattisgarh during his tenure of 3 years. Bhupesh Baghel's failure to consider even one out of 3 crore Chhattisgarhis as worthy exposes them. The victory of Congress in both the seats of Chhattisgarh is believed to be almost certain. Actually, Congress has 90 assembly seats. Congress has 71, BJP has 14, Janata Congress Chhattisgarh has 3 and BSP has 2 seats.
