Chandigarh: Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij has targeted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday. In a tweet, he said, "Jai Shri Ram' slogan for Mamata Banerjee is "like showing the red cloth to a bull" and that is why she stopped her speech at the Kolkata function. " Yesterday was the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. A function was held on the occasion which included Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In his presence, Mamata Banerjee refused to give a speech because the ceremony had slogans of ' Jai Shri Ram '. Recently, Anil Vij has made a tweet. In this tweet, he writes, "The slogan 'Jai Shri Ram' for Mamata Banerjee is like red rag to the bull and that is why she stopped her speech at the Victoria Memorial today.' Yesterday was the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
In the meantime, a ceremony was held at the Victoria Memorial. At the function, Mamata refused to give a speech. During that, a section of the mob there made the slogan ' Jai Shri Ram ' and after that Mamata said that such ' humiliation ' is unacceptable.
