Jaisalmer: Jaisalmer district administration has postponed the 636th Bhadwa fair of Baba Ramdev at Ramdevra, the work place of Baba Ramdev Ji, due to the corona epidemic. District Collector Ashish Modi had issued the postponement of the fair, but even then thousands of devotees are reaching Ramdevra due to their faith and offering Ardas in front of the closed shrine. Due to which the risk of spreading of corona infection has increased here.
Now the administration has adopted a different way to stop the devotees and has sealed the borders of Ramdevra town for devotees. Roads have been erected on the border of the town by the administration. A team of police and RAC has been deployed here, which is not giving entry to the devotees in Ramdevra. Along with this, police and RAC soldiers have been deployed in front of Baba Ramdev ji's samadhi sthal and also in the markets, who are advising devotees and local residents to follow the guidelines.
Baba Ramdev Samadhi Samiti has also closed the LED TV for online darshans, so that people can gather less at the entrance of the tomb.
