After the increase in the case of Covid-19, CM Captain Amarinder Singh has taken a big decision. Under which, the time of night curfew in all the districts of Punjab was increased by two hours. Now instead of 11 pm, there will be curfew from 9 am to 5 am. Industries will be exempted from this. Captain has announced stay in residence (stay at home) on the last day of the week (Saturday and Sunday) for the coming fortnight in Ludhiana, Patiala and Jalandhar.

After this, the situation will be reviewed again. During the weekly Facebook program 'Question to Captain', he told that a surveillance personnel will be deployed on behalf of every marriage palace, restaurant, office (where more than 10 people are gathered). He will ensure wearing masks, disinfecting the atmosphere and implementing social distance. He warned that the teams will visit these places to investigate and take strict action against the violators.

CM Captain Amarinder Singh said that if the life is to be saved from Corona, then treatment should start between fixed time. He also said that things like 'no matter' or 'weather matters' will not work. He appealed to people not to become doctors themselves. Leave the work of doctors to identify and treat the disease. CM further said that no negative perception should be associated with Covid. Do not hesitate to get your test done, nothing in it. The whole world is getting its tests done.
