Bollywood superstar Johnny Lever is one of the most popular Bollywood stars who has made a name for himself in the industry as a comedian. Like Johnny Lever, his daughter Jamie Lever is now following in his own footsteps. Jamie appeared in comedian Kapil Sharma's 2015 movie 'Kis-Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon' and then 'House Full 4.' She has currently done only two Hindi movies but has managed to make a mark in standup comedy. Jamie Lever is celebrating her birthday today.
The father-daughter duo has done many stages shows not only in India but also abroad. And they have been very successful. Jamie once explained about her hit duo, "Dad lives in a very simple way when he's at home, tells stories about his childhood and struggling days, but I'm afraid on stage when I do a program with him."
She added, "On stage, he is not my father but a boss, and when he is my boss, he becomes very strict and doesn't like any negligence in work. Dad took many years to make an identity and I'm afraid I'm not making any mistakes on stage so I work twice as hard before I go on stage.'' Referring to the difficulties of such training, Jamie Lever said, "Dad sits in a corner and asks me my lines, and when I'm listening to him, he doesn't bring a slight expression to his face and then he tells me to try to understand it, with all his heart. Sometimes I would even have tears in my eyes. I have learnt from all the lessons I have learnt today."
