Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police have taken a significant step in counter-terrorism efforts by attaching properties belonging to two terror handlers in Baramulla. The attached properties, measuring 3 Kanals and 19 Marlas in total, are estimated to be worth lakhs of rupees. They belong to Jalal Din, son of Raj Mohd, hailing from Zamboor Pattan, and Mohd Saki, son of Mastana Bhatti, a resident of Kamalkote Uri. According to officials, both individuals operate from Pakistan.

This action was initiated under Section 83 of the Criminal Procedure Code and is connected to a case involving Sections 7 and 25 of the Indian Arms Act, along with Section 4(III) of the TADA Act.

The identification and attachment of these properties came about during a thorough investigation conducted by the police. It underscores the unwavering commitment of the police force to counteract terrorist activities in the region. This operation serves as a testament to the relentless efforts aimed at curbing terrorism and ensuring the safety and security of the region's residents.
