Jammu: Security forces have started a search operation in Sopore in Jammu and Kashmir amid rains in the country. This campaign is being conducted in Bomia of Baramulla which is being carried out by a joint team of 22 Rashtriya Rifles of Army, Sopore Police, and CRPF. Earlier, the Jammu police on Monday exposed a terrorist funding module of the Lashkar-e-Taiba and detained a support person of the terrorist organization.

One and a half lakh rupees cash was recovered from him. During interrogation, it was found that Pakistani commander Harun had sent this money from Pakistan. It was to be transported to the terrorists in Doda through the Over Ground Worker (OGW). The district police got information that Lashkar was on the way to carry out a major incident. The incident is to be done exclusively in the Jammu division. For this, a helpful Jammu has come to take money for hawala.

SOG Jammu and Pir Mittha police started investigating the same information. Due to this, the police caught a helper of the terrorists. He has been identified as Mubassir Bhat, a Sajan resident of Doda. He was given the job of handing over money from the border handler to Jammu by going to Jammu. Due to the investigation, a tiffin-like bag was recovered from him. He had hidden one and a half lakh rupees in it. According to the police, the arrested assistant was told that after taking the money, it has to be passed on to the terrorists, so that they can carry out the crime but he was already caught. Now the inquiry is going on by the police.
