Jammu: A search operation issued by the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir has been a major success. 38-RR of Police and Army have uncovered a terrorist hideout due to search operation in Thanamandi area of Rajouri. From this base, a Pika rifle, a Chinese pistol, a pistol, an AK-47 magazine, two other magazines, 168 cartridges (of the Pika gun), 47 cartridges of an AK-47, four pistol cartridges, two UGBL grenades, one Tape recorders and many other objectionable items have been recovered. With this, the security forces have got a big achievement.
SSP Rajouri said in his statement that information was received about the terrorist hideout in the Manyal area. On the basis of this information, a joint team of police and army laid siege from all sides of the area and started a search operation. Due to this, the terrorist hideout was found, which has been completely destroyed. Also, an excessive amount of arms and ammunition has been recovered from here.
SSP said that the search operation is still going on in the area. Due to the good coordination between all agencies, success is being achieved in thwarting the nefarious designs of anti-national elements. And after this success, enthusiasm has arisen in all the soldiers. With this big achievement, this campaign will continue further. And by making other changes in the campaign, the target of demolishing the hideouts of many terrorists will be set.
