Jammu: Earthquake tremors have been felt in Jammu and Kashmir. According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake occurred at 5.15 am today, the intensity of the earthquake has been measured at 4.1 on the Richter scale. According to the news received, the earthquake occurred at 05:15:34 am on Sunday. Its center was 5 kilometers deep inside the ground. The National Center for Seismology tweeted that the intensity of this earthquake on the Richter scale has been measured at 4.1 magnitude. 

Earlier, on April 28 itself, earthquake tremors were felt twice late in the night in Nepal. The intensity of the earthquake was said to be 4.8 and 5.9 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of this earthquake was told in Dahakot of Bajura district of Nepal. According to the local time of Nepal, the first earthquake hit there around 12 o'clock, while the second one came at around 1.30 am. On the morning of April 25, there were strong tremors of earthquake on Sumatra island of Indonesia. According to Indonesia's Geophysics Agency, the intensity of this earthquake was measured at 7.3 on the Richter scale. Along with this earthquake, a tsunami warning was also issued for about 2 hours. Earlier on Monday morning, there was a strong earthquake in New Zealand.
