Srinagar: In Jammu and Kashmir, the local police and security forces are continuously campaigning against the terrorists. Every day an encounter of terrorists is happening in some area of Kashmir. On Saturday, an encounter between security forces and militants took place in Kulgam of Kashmir. The information has been received about the death of a terrorist in this encounter.

According to the information, security forces and Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel were conducting a search operation on Saturday. During this time, he had an encounter with the terrorists. Security forces killed a terrorist in the encounter. However, two security personnel have also been injured in this encounter. It is noteworthy that the security forces have launched a campaign against the terrorists in the valley. On Saturday, security forces busted the terrorist base in the Thanamandi area of Rajouri district in Rajouri district. Security forces recovered a large number of weapons and ammunition from the terrorist hideout during the search operation.

Earlier, the Jammu and Kashmir Police had declared Doda district as terror-free. From January to June, 118 terrorists have been killed in the first six months of this year. In June itself, the security forces have killed 38 terrorists.
