Srinagar: Security forces have inflicted major injuries on terrorists in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. In the last 24 hours, 9 terrorists who attacked the police bus in Pantha Chowk of Srinagar were killed by the security forces. All these terrorists were members of the Pakistan-backed Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist organization. Three terrorists have been gunned down by security forces in the Pantha Chowk encounter today.

However, 4 security personnel were also injured in this encounter. Giving information, IG Vijay Kumar of Kashmir Police has said that before this, two more encounters took place in the last 24 hours, in which 6 more terrorists were killed. Two Pakistani terrorists were also involved in these terrorists. A large amount of ammunition was also recovered from their possession. Meanwhile, Union Territory DGP Dilbag Singh has informed that 100 successful operations have been done so far this year. In these, a total of 182 terrorists have been killed so far.

Dilbagh Singh said that this year 134 local youth had taken the path of terrorism. Out of which 72 have been killed, while 22 have been arrested. This year 80 terrorists were arrested under UAPA in Kashmir and a total of 497 people have been booked.
