The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is conducting raids at about 10 places in Jammu and Kashmir today i.e. According to the information received, the investigating agency officials are conducting search operations in the capital Srinagar and Baramulla and Anantnag districts of the Union Territory. The NIA has arrested 5 persons at four places in Anantnag and one person in Srinagar during the raid.

You must be aware that earlier last Saturday, the Jammu and Kashmir administration dismissed 11 government employees, including two sons of the most wanted terrorist Syed Salahuddin, for their alleged involvement in terror-funding activities. In fact, Syed Ahmed Shakeel Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKMS) and Shahid Yusuf Salahuddin were working with the Education Department. The official recently said that NIA has tracked terror funding trails of both persons involved in raising, receiving, collecting, and transferring funds through hawala transactions for terrorist activities of Hizbul Mujahideen.

At the same time, the official said, three terrorists were killed in an encounter by security forces in Anantnag district last Saturday. Regarding the entire case, a police officer said, "Security forces launched a cordon and search operation after receiving information about the presence of terrorists at Quarigam in the Ranipora area. The militants opened fire on the security forces while conducting searches in the area. Security forces retaliated following which an exchange of fire took place from both sides. Three terrorists were killed during the incident.''
