Srinagar: Encounter between security forces and militants continues in Salosa area of Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir. In this encounter, an unknown terrorist has been killed so far. There have been reports of 2 to 3 terrorists hiding in the valley. Police, army and CRPF are involved in the operation. Jammu and Kashmir Police has given information in this regard.

Pakistani Rangers in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district violated the ceasefire and fired on the international border without provocation and fired mortar shells. Giving information, officials said that the incident of ceasefire violation at the border post in Karol Mathna area of Hiranagar sector occurred at 11.30 pm on Friday, after which the Border Security Force (BSF) also gave a befitting reply.

Bullets were fired all night from both sides and the firing stopped at 4.40 am on Saturday. There is no information of any casualty or loss of any kind on the Indian side. The firing caused panic among the people living in the border areas and they spent the night in underground bunkers. Actually, here BSF is doing construction work there to stop the infiltration and to obstruct this, Pakistan constantly targets advance posts and villages in Hiranagar sector.
