Srinagar: The campaign against terrorism in the Valley has intensified since the removal of Article 370 (Article 370) of the Constitution giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces have arrested a LeT militant from Sopore area of Baramulla North Kashmir. Teams of Jammu and Kashmir Police and security forces have jointly arrested the terrorists with arms and ammunition. Giving information, a police officer has told that, this terrorist was active in the area for the last 15 days and was from the old city of Baramulla. At present, the arrested terrorist is being questioned.

Earlier, three over ground workers (OGW) of Lashkar-e-Taiba were arrested by security forces with 3 grenades from Magam area. Security forces intensified counter-terrorism operations for the past two days, as the new Deputy Governor took over as GC Murmu as the head of Jammu and Kashmir. At the same time, the security forces are conducting search operations for the terrorists.
