Srinagar: Terrorists opened fire on a salesman in the Bohri Kadal area of Srinagar in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday (November 8, 2021). According to Jammu and Kashmir police, he is hospitalized. His condition remains critical. According to the report, firing is still going on in Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir. This is the second terror attack in the city in the last 24 hours.

On Sunday (November 7, 2021), a police constable named Tauseef Ahmed was shot dead by terrorists in Srinagar. The incident took place in the SD colony of the Bemina area. The injured police constable was rushed to Maharaja Hari Singh Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead after being shot. Constable Tauseef Ahmed had bullet marks on his head. There have been several cases targeting common people in Jammu and Kashmir in the last few days. In Kashmir, militants had killed several civilians, including two teachers of a school.

Coming to October, this month has been extremely violent for Jammu and Kashmir. A total of 44 lives have been lost in terrorist encounters in this one month. On the one hand, 19 terrorists have been killed by the security forces in the encounter while 12 security personnel have also been martyred. A total of 13 common people, including 5 external labourers, who came to work from other states, lost their lives in the terror attack. This was followed by an exodus back from the valley. The terrorists are trying to create fear among the general public.
