Patna: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made a statement opposing the triple talaq of the JD(U) saying that each party has its own stand. BJP leader Sanjay Saravagi said, our party wants to bring justice to Muslim women through the triple talaq bill. Now, Muslim women are being harassed a lot over triple talaq.

Sanjay Saravagi has said that it has not yet been implemented in many Muslim countries of the world. Muslim women are being treated like sheep goats. On the other hand, RJD MLA Bhai Virendra said, "We welcome the stand of the JDU. JDU is a secular political party.

Virendra also said that triple talaq is a religious matter, which would cost the BJP dearly. Our party, the RJD, has been opposed to interference in religious affairs. While the RJD seems soft on the JDU, it is leaving no stone unturned to target the BJP.
