The match was excellent with fours and sixes. Not only that, South Africa batted first and set a huge target of 190 runs for the English team. England were 179 for 8, and there were moments in the big match that made people lose their senses.

There was an incident in the middle of the ground that made everyone emotional. In fact, England opener Jason Roy was seen groaning in pain and was seen crying bitterly on the middle ground as he could not stand on his feet. Chasing a target of about 190 runs, England were given a start by Jason Roy and Jos Buttler. Both of them scored 37 runs on the scoreboard in four overs, followed by Buttler on the first ball of Keshav Maharaj's fifth over and ran for runs.

Roy also ran to complete the run, but he fell behind the stumps immediately after that and could not stand on his feet despite a million attempts. Roy burst into tears in the middle, and after the physio's checkup, Roy had to be taken out of the field when his pain did not subside.
