TURIN – Hubert Hurkacz, the world No. 10 tennis player from Poland, has completed the elite eight-player field for the 2021 Nitto ATP Finals, which will take place from November 14 to 21 at the Pala Alpitour in Turin.

The 24-year-old Hurkacz is only the second Polish player to qualify for the tournament, following 1976 runner-up Wojtek Fibak, and will make his debut after a sensational season in which he reached a career-high No. 10 in the ATP Rankings and won three ATP Tour titles. "It's an incredible sensation. Obviously, visiting Turin is a dream come true "On Friday evening, Hurkacz told nittoatpfinals.com.

"It's inspiring to see all those top players play in the Finals when you're a kid. Being one of them now is very special because there are only eight spots available, so getting there is not easy." Hurkacz qualified for the semifinals of the Paris Masters by defeating James Duckworth of Australia in three sets on Friday evening. He claimed that in the weeks leading up to this point, he had received a lot of support from his countrymen. "I'm getting a lot of help, particularly from other athletes... I'm honoured to be in this position, and I hope I'm doing my part to make Poland proud "In a post-match interview with Tennis Channel, Hurkacz said.
