New Delhi: Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has joined his team Mumbai Indians for the Indian Premier League (IPL) after marriage. He is focusing on his fitness in the room alone during the quarantine. He has shared a video of him doing a workout in a hotel room on social media, in which he is seen lifting weights. The 14th season of the IPL is scheduled to begin on 9 April. Let me tell you that the first match is to be played between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Bumrah was knocked out of the bio-bubble after a two-Test series against England. He tied the knot with sports anchor Sanjana Ganesan on 15 March. Under the corona Protocol, they will have to stay in quarantine for a week due to quitting bio-bubble. Along with this, he will have to undergo several corona tests. Bumrah took 27 wickets in 15 matches played for Mumbai in the UAE last season. 4 wickets for 14 runs was his best performance. His economy was also around 6.50. He has played 109 wickets in 92 matches so far played in IPL. Mumbai's team was the champion last season. He has won the IPL title the most 5 times.

Team captain Rohit Sharma, all-rounder Hardik Pandya, his brother Krunal Pandya and batsman Suryakumar Yadav have joined the Mumbai Indians team on Monday. These four players were part of Team India for the three ODI series against England. In the final ODI match played in Pune on Sunday, India defeated England to win the series 2–1.
