Famous lyricist Javed Akhtar has also taken refuge in the Supreme Court in the case filed against Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut. In fact, he has filed a caveat regarding Kangana Ranaut's transfer petition. You all must know that Javed Akhtar has filed a criminal defamation complaint. In this, a bailable warrant has also been issued against Kangana. In such a situation, Kangana has filed a petition to transfer all the cases from Mumbai to Himachal. In the same sequence, Javed Akhtar has said in the Caviate that 'Kangana's plea should be heard before issuing any order.'

By the way, you will all know that Kangana's bailable warrant was issued against him on Monday after Kangana was not produced in the defamation case filed by Javed Akhtar. At the same time, on 1 February, the Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate court issued summons to Kangana and directed to appear before the court on 1 March. However, Magistrate RR Khan issued a bailable warrant against the actress and listed the matter for hearing on 26 March.

Earlier, the lower court had said that 'March 22 has been fixed for further hearing of the case'. Kangana's lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui had argued in the court that summons against the actress was issued without following due process of law and hence it was 'against the law'. After this, Kangana and her sister Rangoli reached the Supreme Court in this case.
