The world's leading vehicle manufacturer Jawa first launched its BS6 and Jawa Forty Two BS6 in March 2020, but its specifications were not revealed at that time. Being in conformity with BS6 standards, there has been a slight difference in its poweroutput. It is very much that the weight of motorcycles will increase due to additional emission restricted components and hence its weight has increased by 2 kg. The weight of both the bikes is now 172 kg.

Apart from this, both bikes have a 293 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which is compliant with BS6 standards. The engine of both bikes generates 26.51 PS power and 27.05Nm torque. Compared to models equipped with BS4 standards, its power has seen a drop of 0.86 PS and torque by 0.95 Nm. The engine comes with a 6-speed transmission, similar to BS4 bikes. The same, apart from the power output and weight, there has been no change in both the motorcycles. Well, how is its performance and how does it feel to run against BS4 variants. We will be able to tell you this only when we get a chance to drive both these bikes. The price of single channel variants of Jawa ranges from Rs 1,73,164 to Rs 1,74,228. At the same time, the price of Jawa dual channel ABS variants ranges from Rs 1,82,106 to Rs 1,83,170. The only difference in these prices is the color variant, while the BS4 model had the same price for all the color variants.

For your information, let us tell you that the price of single channel variants of Jawa Forty Two ranges from Rs 1,60,300 to Rs 1,65,228. At the same time, the price of the Forty Two dual channel variants ranges from Rs 1,69,242 to Rs 1,74,170. In this bike too, the price difference is only for the color variants, while the BS4 variants had the same prices for all the color variants. All these prices are ex-showroom.
