Lucknow: Slamming Samwajwadi Party Firoz Khan over the latter's sexist remarks actor-turned-politician Jaya Prada on Saturday said that only such comments could be expected from Samajwadi Party candidates.

Earlier, Khan had courted controversy after he said that "Prada would enthral the people of Rampur with ghungaroos and thumkas".

Jaya Prada responded by saying that Khan already has cases against him and it was expected from the SP candidate. Though when the comments went viral, Khan said that his statement was presented in a distorted manner, he was booked by the police.

Jaya joined BJP and will be contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Uttar Pradesh's Rampur constituency. The actess has contested from Rampur twice and has won both the times. But what's interesting to note is the fact that in 2004 she was helped by Azam Khan to win the seat and then in 2009 Khan left no stone unturned to ensure her defeat. Although his efforts went in vain, it was the begining the rivallary between the two prominent leaders.
