Patna: A man was stabbed to death in a fight over a land dispute. The deceased is said to be Dhananjay Singh, son of Alakhdev Singh, resident of Pithori Takht in Saran district and brother of Janata Dal United State Secretary Munna Singh. The matter is of Monday evening.
According to the news received, there was a dispute regarding filling the soil late on Monday evening. Due to the dispute, the people of the other side attacked Dhananjay Singh with a spear. The spear hit the man's chest. Dhananjay got injured and fell on the ground and started suffering. Neighbors hurriedly took the injured person to the referral hospital Baniyapur, where he died.
There was a furore in the family as soon as the doctor confirmed the death of the man. As soon as the news of the case was received, the Baniyapur police reached the spot and took the dead body in possession and sent it to Chapra for post-mortem. After the incident, the people of the other party involved in the assault have fled the house. There is a mournful silence in the village. Other reasons for the incident are also being discussed. Police is camping in the village. Till the last news is received, no FIR has been registered on behalf of the relatives of the deceased.
