Patna: The BJP has announced its candidate for the post of Vice President. The BJP has fielded West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar as its vice-presidential candidate on behalf of the NDA. Shortly after the announcement, the JDU also announced its support. CM Nitish Kumar has welcomed the BJP's decision. He announced that the JDU will support Jagdeep Dhankhar. Good luck to them.
Earlier, the BJP national president said that a meeting of the parliamentary board was held for the selection process of the vice-presidential candidate. All the issues were discussed in the presence of PM Narendra Modi. Several names came up for the candidate and they were discussed in detail. All the names were discussed on other topics like society, the need of the country, etc. After considering all the names, the BJP Parliamentary Board has come to the conclusion that as the NDA candidate, our farmer son Jagdeep Dhankhar is being declared as the candidate for the post of Vice President.
He said that Jagdeep Dhankhar ji is presently the Governor of West Bengal. He has been contributing to the social and political field for the last 3 decades. Dhankhar is the son of a simple farmer family. Crossing the social and economic obstacles in his life, he has left no stone unturned in achieving high goals in social life. He said that he was brought up in a village in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. While studying from the village school, he took education from Sainik School Chittorgarh. He later studied Physics at the University of Rajasthan. After doing LLB together, he also practised law. He established himself as a competent advocate in the Rajasthan High Court. He also established himself as a renowned advocate in the Supreme Court.
