It was recently learned that the producers of Mohanlal's upcoming film will start shooting for it next month. At a time when fans are waiting for updates. The director has said that the film will be a family drama and it will show how the family deals with the tragedy in the original version of the film. Director Jethu Joseph interacted with the students of the Kerala government's additional skill acquisition program, where he told about the film.
He also said that his Ram, Mohanlal's directorial with another film is coming, which will be an entertaining film, while Drishyam 2 will have a lot of emotional value. Meena will be seen as the leading lady. Apparently, two weeks before the shooting starts, the entire cast and crew including Mohanlal and Meena will go into quarantine. It was revealed by the makers that the shooting would begin on 14 September. In an earlier interview, the director had said that the film would not require much crowd and most of it would be shot indoors.
The film revolves around the life of a man from a humble family, whose wife kills his daughter. The family is confronted after the murder, and the measures taken to keep the murder a secret will keep an eye on the screen. Meanwhile, Jethu Joseph and Mohanlal's next film Ram, in which Trisha is the lead lady. Apparently, the makers have completed 60 percent of the film, while the rest of the film is to be shot abroad. The same movie that everyone is waiting for.
