LOS ANGELES:  The fourth season of the Netflix coming-of-age comedy series "Never Have I Ever," co-created by actor Jeff Garlin, has been cast.

His first role since leaving "The Goldbergs" following an HR inquiry regarding charges of wrongdoing against him, reports "Variety,"

After the comedian spoke with Vanity Fair about the allegations, which included physical touching habits and words that made others uncomfortable, news of his departure from "The Goldbergs" broke in December 2021.

In the interview, he added that he had been under investigation by the series' HR department for three years and denied rumours that he had been sacked. Days later, sources told Variety that the decision to let him go was mutual. His character died off in Season 10 of "The Goldbergs," which debuted earlier this year.

In the fourth season of "Never Have I Ever," Garlin will play Len, a lovely guy who makes a mean sandwich and gets Nirmala (Ranjita Chakravarty) to rethink her decision to never date again.

The coming-of-age drama series follows Indian American girl Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan), as she navigates new romantic relationships while juggling the stresses of high school and domestic strife.

Along with co-creator and showrunner Lang Fisher, Howard Klein, and David Miner of 3 Arts Entertainment, Kaling serves as executive producer. The studio belongs to Universal Television.

In addition, before leaving "The Goldbergs," Garlin played Jeff Greene on Larry David's "Curb Your Enthusiasm," which wrapped up its 11th season in 2021 and was renewed for a 12th season in August of this year. It is unknown at this time if Garlin will continue to appear in the show.
