LOS ANGELES: Hollywood Actress Jenna Ortega has shared why her character Wednesday Addams only cried once in the highly streamed Netflix series 'Wednesday'.
One time only, according to eonline.com, when Ortega's Wednesday raced Thing to Uncle Fester's aid after the disembodied hand was discovered stabbed to Wednesday's Nevermore Academy dorm room wall.
On December 20's episode of "Still Watching Netflix," Ortega noted, "It's also a pretty crucial time for Wednesday."
It's supposedly the only time we actually see her cry. After Fester suddenly saves Thing's life, Wednesday is seen wiping away her tears. She went on to say that Wednesday's tears brought the scenario to a new, extremely powerful level.
However, I'm glad it was over him, Ortega stated in reference to her sobs.
It wouldn't have made sense over anything else, in my opinion. This is the first time you get to see Wednesday actually being frantic, so you could tell she really cares about Thing, which is wonderful, said Joy Sunday, who plays fellow Nevermore Academy student Bianca Barclay, about the moment. Nothing compares to the affection a girl has for her sentient five-fingered best friend.
It turns out that the reason Thing on the show appears to be so real is because he is a hand! Victor Dorobantu, a hand actor and performer, portrays Thing on Wednesday, playing a crucial part in the poignant scenario.
Victor was a blue man under the table, Jenna said, "and that was him."
