Ranchi: Jharkhand Assembly Election 2019 assembly elections - Second phase of 2019 is to be voted on Saturday. Peaceful polling in the Maoist stronghold is a challenge for the security forces, but the success of the first phase has boosted the troops. In the second phase, elections are to be held for 20 seats in the Assembly, out of which 12 seats are deeply affected by Naxalites. At the same time, Boida Pahan's squad had to leave their camp in the jungle in Namkum, Ranchi, and the recovery of two insas and large number of cartridges in the Raneshwar police station area of Dumka is threatening the police.

According to information received from sources, DGP Kamal Nayan Choubey said that peaceful and fair elections are the priority of the police. There are strong security arrangements. Voters should join their franchise in large numbers in democracy. Here, IG (Operation) Saket Kumar Singh is constantly monitoring the sensitive areas of Kolhan. IG (Human Rights) Naveen Kumar Singh is also specially engaged for peaceful voting. Polling will be held in East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Ranchi, Seraikela-Kharsanwa, Khunti, Gumla and Simdega districts in the second phase elections. 140 company additional armed forces and about three thousand home guards have been deployed here. These soldiers are posted on their clusters. These forces include 90 Company Para-military Forces and 47 Eco Company of Jharkhand Police.

For information, let us tell you that among the external forces deployed in all the seven districts, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) ), Odisha Police, Maharashtra Police, Meghalaya Police, Sikkim Police, Railway Protection Force (RPF), Bihar Police, Tripura Police, Indo-Tibet Border Police (ITBip) D), Chhattisgarh Police, Andhra Pradesh Police and Madhya Pradesh Police.
