Ranchi: The Shravani Mela has been postponed this time in view of the possibility of Corona infection. On the other hand, the Deoghar district administration will ensure live darshan of Baba Vaidyanath through various national and local TV channels. Devghar's tower chowk, VIP chowk, bus stand etc. from many places, devotees will be able to see Baba on the big screen.

Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren on Thursday directed through video conferencing that no state bus should be allowed to enter the border of Deoghar or Dumka. No one will be allowed to bathe in Shiva-Ganga. CM Hemant Soren has said that devotees from all over the country come to Babadham and Basukinath in Sawan. During this and ensure that there is no crowd gathering anywhere in the temple.

CM Soren further said that the government does not want to take any threat to the health of the people in the Corona period. Therefore, it has been decided to postpone the Shravani Mela this year. He said that work has to be done keeping the social system and tradition postponed. Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, Director General of Police MV Rao, Tourism Secretary Pooja Singhal, Deputy Commissioner Deoghar Nancy Sahay, Deputy Commissioner Dumka B. Rajeshwari etc. were present during the video conferencing.
