Latehar: In the Latehar district of Jharkhand, a program was organized by the Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperation in New Town Hall under the Mukhyamantri Krishi Aashirvad Yojana. DC Jishan Qamar, Deputy Development Commissioner Madhavi Mishra attended the event as the chief guest. He motivated the farmers to move towards self-sufficiency by taking advantage of the schemes run by the government.

Deputy Commissioner Jishan Qamar said that the Mukhyamantri Krishi Aashirvad Yojana is a boon for farmers. At the same time, DC Zeeshan Qamar said that a total of 62 thousand farmers of the district were listed for giving benefits of this scheme, in which today the first instalment amount is being sent to the account of 34 thousand 1 hundred 81 farmers. He said that now the farmers will get a lot of facility in farming by getting the amount and at the same time they will get relief from the clutches of middlemen. It is noteworthy that about 13 crore rupees were sent to 34181 farmers' accounts.

During the program organized in the Town Hall to send the first instalment amount under this Scheme by the Department of Animal Husbandry and Cooperation, Rs. 13.5 million was sent to the account of 34,000 farmers of the district through DBT. During this program, the certificate of sending funds to farmers was also provided by MLA Harikrishna Singh and Deputy Commissioner Jishan Kamar.
