Ranchi: Today the Jharkhand High Court has ruled on the opening of the Deoghar temple. The court has taken the opinion of all the parties and has allowed virtual visitation. The draft has also been given to the High Court on behalf of the government. The court was informed by the government that it is not possible to open the temple for the devotees. The High Court has also ordered to prepare for online darshan.

In view of the possibility of corona infection, this time the Shravani fair at Baba Vaidyanath Dham in Deoghar has been postponed. Meanwhile, the Deoghar district administration is preparing to have a live darshan of Baba Vaidyanath through different national and local TV channels. For this, big screens will be installed at major square-intersections of the city.

Giving information, Deputy Commissioner of Devghar Nancy Sahay has told that till July 31, all the temples of Jharkhand are closed anyway. The entry of common devotees into the Baba Vaidyanath temple complex is completely restricted. Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren has discussed through video conferencing with Deputy Commissioner of Deoghar and Deputy Commissioner of Dumka on Thursday. CM Soren has directed that no state bus should be allowed in the border of Deoghar or Dumka. No one will be allowed to study in Shiva-Ganga.
