Garhwa: Is the increase in the Muslim population in India a danger alarm for Hindus? Such things are often used by politicians, but an example of this has emerged from Jharkhand, which is difficult to believe. In fact, there has been a case of discrimination and atrocities against Hindus in the Muslim-majority area of the state of Jharkhand in secular India. This is the case in Garhwa district, where due to the large Muslim population in a village, the government school there has stopped admitting Hindu students. Not only this, but the school has also expelled five Hindu children from the school.
According to Prabhat Khabar's report, the case pertains to the Government school, Hathia Patthar, at Manpur village in Ranka block. Hindus are not enrolled in the school for the last many years. The school's management committee and principal say that Muslims constitute more than 90 per cent of the population in the village, so only Muslims will be enrolled in schools here. About four years ago, five Hindu students of the same school were denied the right to education by cutting their names. Since then, no Hindu student has been admitted to the school. Among the children rescued are Dilip Kumar, Pankaj Kumar, Rani of Class III, Amrita Kumari of Class II and Neha Kumari of Class I. After being expelled from school, these children started studying in a school far away from Manpur.
The fathers of the Hindu children who were expelled from school live outside and work as labourers and their mother lives in the house as a lawyer. The children's mothers say that the principal of the school, Mahtab Ansari, belongs to the Muslim community and they say that only Muslim children will study here. At the same time, after the matter came to light, the education officer of the block, Kamta Prasad, said that the matter should be investigated. At the same time, the headmaster of the Government middle school, Mahtab Ansari, has said that the scholarships of the students who have been expelled from the school had come. The school used that money to build a bad handpump. But, the children created a ruckus for scholarships, after which they were expelled from the school.
