State police to distribute smartphones to poor children, launches 'mobile bank'

Ranchi: Jharkhand Police's unique initiative is in the news these days. In fact, mobile banks are being set up in every police station in the state to address the problem of poor children studying online. New and old mobiles are being deposited in this mobile bank with the help of society. More than 200 mobile phones have been deposited in the bank in Jamshedpur in just 6 days. With this, two laptops have been deposited in the police station.

Mobiles and laptops being deposited will be distributed among children after the upcoming order. Classes are currently running online due to corona. Mobiles or laptops are essential for online classes, but children from poor eras are not able to afford it. Jharkhand Police has done the job of healing this pain of children. A mobile bank has been set up in each police station where collected mobiles or laptops will be distributed to poor children.

Social organizations of all religions in the city are providing smart mobile phones as per their wishes. The Bistupur police station in-charge has been given 20 smart mobile phones on behalf of the Muslim community, while some are depositing mobile phones of the current condition kept in their homes. The EMI number of the old mobile phone is being saved by the administration.
