Ranchi: The Jharkhand government is also very scared to see the increasing cases of Omicron, a new variant of corona infection in India. In order to avoid Omicron and prevent its spread in the state, the Hemant Soron government has asked the Deputy Commissioners of all the cities to be alert and ensure that the corona rules are followed. An officer gave this news on Thursday. Due to this, the officers were asked to adopt the plan of test-track-isolate-treat-vaccination to prevent the spread of corona in the state.

The same Additional Chief Secretary Health, Arun Kumar Singh, in a letter to the Deputy Commissioners of the district, told that all eligible beneficiaries should be vaccinated by January 15. He further said that the country is witnessing a steady increase in the number of cases of Omicron. This new variant of corona infection has a higher potential for transmission and is likely to spread at a faster rate.
