Police and Naxalites encounter in Jharkhand, three terrorists killed

Ranchi: The plot of a major attack in Pulwama in Jammu Kashmir on Thursday morning failed, the police had to hand over the Naxalites in the jungles of the ground. According to the information, three people of the People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) were killed by the Chaibasa police in West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand on Thursday.

There is also a report of a PLFI injured in a horrific encounter. Encounters took place between the police and the militants in the mountainous forest of Manmadu fleet falling under the Naxal-affected Tebo police station area. According to the information, the police had a fight with Area Commander Champa Dasta of PLFI. The Chaibasa police was getting information that PLFI organization militants have started coming and going in the mountainous forests of Manmadu fleet of Tebow police station area. It was reported that these people are in the mood to carry out a major crime. On the basis of this information, the police of Chaibasa together with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) intensified the patrolling.

A joint team of police and CRPF started a search operation in the jungles of Manmadu fleet in the hills of PLFI militants late Wednesday. Meanwhile, the militants started firing on the police and CRPF personnel. Security personnel also retaliated. After the encounter, when the security forces carried out a search operation, they found the bodies of three militants.
