Jio Launches JioTele OS:  Jio has introduced JioTele OS, a brand-new Smart TV operating system designed specifically for Indian viewers.

With about 35 million homes in India using connected TVs, the need for better digital entertainment is growing. However, many people struggle with TVs that lack good customization, do not offer high-quality regional content, and do not  provide a smooth experience.

Notably, The Tele OS platform is solely different than that of the Jio TV-OS, which has announced in 2024r at Reliance Industries. The Jio Tele OS is implied for smart Televisions. the Jio TV OS platform plays major role in the operating system for Jio Set Up Boxes, which can be paired with regular televisions as well.  

In addition, with another updates, Jio has reintroduced its most affordable monthly recharge plan at Rs.189. Available only on the MyJio app, this plan offers about one month of validity, 2GB of data, unlimited calls, 300 SMS, and access to JioTV, JioCinema, and JioCloud, it said.
