New Delhi:- Reliance Jio is preparing to launch a new JioBook laptop in India. This laptop will be launched on July 31 on Amazon. It can either be the latest version of JioBook or Reliance is planning to sell the old one too through Amazon. The 2022 JioBook laptop was made available only through Reliance Digital stores. The e-commerce site has also revealed some of the key specifications of the device.

This laptop comes in blue color and comes with a compact form factor. The company claims that the laptop is 'designed for productivity, entertainment and games for all ages.' It has support for 4G connectivity and an octa-core processor, which the company says can handle streaming of high-def Mind you, the JioBook 2022 is aimed at budget-minded consumers looking for a laptop to use for basic tasks like browsing and learning.

His JioBook, which launched in October, featured an 11.6-inch wide-bezel HD display and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls. It was powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC paired with an Adreno 610 GPU and had 2GB of RAM, which limited smooth multitasking.

In terms of storage, it offers 32 GB of eMMC storage, expandable up to 128 GB. The Jio laptop ran JioOS optimized for smooth performance and also featured a JioStore for installing third-party apps.

The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that promises up to 8 hours of battery life on a single charge and has passive cooling support for temperature regulation. Connectivity options include 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI Mini, WiFi and more. It has been told in the teaser that the design of the latest Jio laptop is very light, and its weight is about 990 grams. According to Amazon, this laptop can provide full day battery backup to the users. Apart from this, further details about it are undetermined as of now, and perhaps more details will be revealed at the time of its launch on July 31.

Special things about JioBook 2022 is that the JioBook packs a 5,000mAh battery that can last up to 8 hours on a single charge. It has passive cooling support which prevents it from heating up. It also is equipped with 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI mini, Wi-Fi and other connectivity options.
