Patna: Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) chief Jitan Ram Manjhi is about to break his ties with the Grand Alliance and join hands with the JDU. Started the journey of life with wages, became a clerk in the postal ministry, and after getting into the field of politics, he has occupied the throne of the power of the province. Jitan Ram Manjhi is going to be known as a Dalit face in Bihar, but to save his existence in politics, he is going to come together once again.

Jitan Ram Manjhi, who started the political journey in the 80s, has held the post of minister in the state governments of Congress, RJD and JDU. Manjhi, who was a six-time MLA, first became a minister in the Chandrashekhar Singh government of Congress in 1980 and after which he was a minister in Bindeshwari Dubey's government. After which Nitish became a minister in the government and surprised everyone by taking oath as the CM of Bihar in 2014. Nitish Kumar has decorated the head crown of Manjhi, but after 8 months it has been taken away again. After this, Manjhi formed her own party and joined hands with the BJP and the Grand Alliance, but if both were not successful with the camp, then now they have made up their mind to join the JDU.

The people of the Mushar caste are known to catch rats and eat them. His father Ramjit Ram Manjhi is an agricultural laborer. In his childhood, Jitan Ram Manjhi also started working in the fields by the landowner, but the ardor in his mind made him capable. Talking about the education of Jitan Ram Manjhi, after completing education in higher school in 1962, he obtained a bachelor's degree in history from Gaya College in 1967.

Manjhi's political journey started: Manjhi, coming from a poor family, got a clerical job in the Ministry of Posts and Telegrams in 1968, but left in 1980 after 12 years working in the Department of Posts. After which he has joined the Congress party and has become a part of the movement, in which he is going to raise the slogan 'Aadhi roti khoonge, call Indira'. Fought first election in 1980 and became a minister by winning. After this, Manjhi is facing many ups and downs in his political life. He won again in 1985, but he had to face defeat in Fatehpur reserved assembly constituency in 1990.
