Patna: A minor was recently raped in the Hajipur district of Bihar. The opposition is attacking the Nitish Kumar government over this. But in the midst of all this, former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi made a controversial statement defending the Nitish government. He said that now the population of Bihar is not half crore or 1 crore. There is a total population of 12 crores. There must have been a few such incidents. He said that it is necessary when such an incident happens, it has to be seen what action the government takes. Just now such a case has come to light in Gaya and it has been exposed.

Jitan Ram Manjhi said that now you see that when there are more utensils, there is a miner. A conspiracy is also hatched to defame the government behind such an incident. As far as law and order in Bihar is concerned, there is no compromise with it. The Nitish government is following a policy of zero tolerance toward crime. The aim of this government is not to harass any innocent and not to spare any criminal.

This is not the first time that Jitan Ram Manjhi has made a controversial statement. Even before this, he has been in the news for controversial statements. He had said that he does not believe in Lord Ram. He described himself as a descendant of Mother Sabari and described Maryada Purushottam as a fictional character. Tulsi das Ji is believed in Valmiki. But he doesn't believe in Ram. Big people divided us for their own interests.
