Jehanabad: The mobile phone of JNU student Sharjeel Imam, accused of making inflammatory speeches across the country in protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), has been recovered by the Crime Branch team of Delhi Police. Sharjal Imam's phone was received from a house in Jehanabad district of Bihar. It is now expected that some disclosures may be made from the mobile of Sharazil Imam. Significantly, Sharjeel was arrested from his house in Jehanabad, Bihar on January 28 on charges of making inflammatory speeches to cut Assam out of India. The crime branch brought Sharjeel to Delhi the next day, where questions and answers were taken from him in custody.
